Lately I have been addicted to a few tv shows. If you know me I have never been big into TV since my favorite show Friends ended and all the reality stuff started. I would much rather read a good book. When American Idol started 7 years ago my roomies in Cali got me hooked. Yes, I even have 3 other shows I've become hooked on. I never thought I'd see the day but I needed something to occupy my time since I can't be obsessive over Edward anymore. I used to just watch them, but yep you guessed it, starting last season I really got into it and even voted.
All the shows are on around the same time and if I watched them all straight through I would never have a life. Thank goodness for TIVO/DVR cause I just tape them all then watch them at my convenience, fast forward through the commercials or parts I don't like, and turn a 1 hour show into 2o minutes, it's great.

Ahhh David Archuleta, what's not to love! He is so dang cute and such a good singer and at such a young age! There are a few contestants I like this year but he is by far my favorite. And...he's even from Utah! I even love the judges, Simon cracks me up, Randy always says the same thing and half the time I think Paula is drunk - it adds so much spice to the show.
DANCING WITH THE STARSI think I love this show because I love dancing but never get to do it (Shayne isn't a big fan) so I just get my fix by watching all these amazing dancers and their students. It is definitely not as good as the real thing but I love it. These were last seasons winners: Julianne is another one from Utah along with her brother who also is a dancer (Derek) on the show. Glad to see Utah is representing! All the professionals are amazing I don't think I can pick a favorite. It just kills me cause they all have such smokin' bodies - I like to think if I danced all day everyday, and got paid for it, mine would be that way too.
Why wouldn't you like this show? Cute guys trying to find true love, it's so romantic and sappy, I just can't get enough! Don't even get me started on Brad from last season - what a weenie! Still haven't decided about this new guy, but if nothing else he does have the accent going for him!
THE HILLSOh the drama! I don't even know when I started on this one but I continue watching and waiting to see who's going to fight next, who will fall in love..... Everyone needs a bit of drama now and then right?

I know what you mean, I hate when I get hooked by fun shows... I know there are so many other productive or brain stimulating things I could be doing...And yet, there I go, being a total couch potato and watching A.Idol, Dancing, and I even started watching dumb Kyle XY on ABC family...go figure! I totally watched the last bachelor, and James made fun of me every monday for it, but you better belive by the end, he was hooked too, and we even made a bet on who he'd pick...too bad neither of us won!!! HA!
Those are all my favorite shows except I've never seen The Hills. Maybe I need to give that one a try! I LOVE DVR!!
I love reality shows too! I watch all those just to pass the time on night shifts, especially because Scott thinks they're retarded and never lets me watch them at home! During Christmas we went to church with Scott's parents and Julianne and her brother walked into sacrament meeting and sat right in front of us! Turns out their parents are in Scott's parents ward! It was crazy! I just need to get Tivo and then life will be even better!
Love love love The Hills, but you already knew that. Another episode tonight and Brody will be in this one. I wish that we could get TIVO but I don't think we can because our apartments have their own cable and it is all funky. It was nice talking to you the other day. Oh yeah... Hallie had her baby on Friday. Her name is Berkley Peay. :)
I am totally with you on this tv stuff! Love our little David Archuleta, love the new bachelor (but not so much the girls), and love the drama from The Hills. Cheri has gotten me hooked on that last one!
I LOVE Dancing With the Stars, but I never watch tv, so I don't even know if the new season has started or is in the middle, help me here!
