Dang you all who convinced me to read the Twilight Series (I had people pestering me as soon as it came out and it has taken me this long to give into the fact that it's about vampires) I am totally incapacitated by it now. I can't put the darn thing down. How is it that totally fictional books do that to you? I read it when I wake up, then on my breaks at work, then again at lunch and then again before bed. Also, I can't stop talking about it. I want to talk to everyone that has read it because I know they feel the same way I do. Shayne just can't understand why I am so obsessed and I'm sure he gets tired of me talking about Edward all the time. Now I am even posting about it. This is not healthy! I could barely pull myself away to type this post. I have read a lot of good books in my day and there are few that I find myself immersed in, who would of thought vampires would do it? The worst part isn't even that I can't put the book down, it's that once I'm done then what? Try to find an equally intriguing book? That will be tough! I guess I always have the movie to look forward to but then that is a whole other issue. I am skeptical to see the movie so as not to ruin a good book. I loved Da Vinci Code and then hated the movie and most movies after books are that way (at least for me). I just don't know how they could make the movie as good as the book. I am nervous who they will pick as the cast especially Edward because if the actors they pick aren't how I pictured the characters in my head, Edward particularly, it will ruin it for me. I tend to like it better when they choose "no name" actors when doing movies after books. (this is why I loved The Notebook because the actors weren't very popular at the time) For example, if they had Julia Roberts playing Esme it wouldn't work because I don't picture Julia Roberts when I am reading. Unfortunately, producers think in dollar signs and many of them think bigger more popular actors will sell better. I love who they picked for Bella so far for this reason... so we are doing good for now. Ok, so I will get off my soap box now, I guess we will just have to wait and see who they pick for the movie but I am not holding my breath, so.... any of you who knows of another good read please please tell me so I won't be left hanging when I finish this series.

But you hadn't grown up in Canada with Ryan Gosling on Breaker High. I totally knew who he was and was a little obsessed with him when The Notebook came out.
I too am obsessed with the twilight series, I did not buy the books but I kinda want to and would be half tempted to read them again. I can wait until the next book comes out! Your blog decor is very cute!
hey cute girl! come check out my page sometime!
I feel like everyone is reading the Twilight books...I might have to join the frenzy...but it will have to be after the holidays because I'm known to get so wrapped up in books and I become antisocial (which won't jive with my family when I'm in Utah).
p.s. My background is from shabbyprincess.com. There are quite a few free downloads for your choosing!

Take it easy. By the way my wife loves the twilight books too, maybe borderline obsessed.
So I have not read these books. My sister, Carrie, is also obsessed with the series. I might have to break down and start reading them to fit in. ha ha
I don't have time to read much but when I do get into a book,I am the same way. Kids? what Kids? LOL
Tell Shayne that the girls found some old photos of him and I together in one of those mall photos places. They didn't belive me when I told them it was Shayne and they still don't. He was about 5 or 6, I was about 11 or 12. They are funny I will have to send you guys copies.
Okay, Sherri, I am so with ya! I read the whole series in like 2 weeks, and it was even around the time of my dad passing, I read it in the middle of the night at the hospital... Yeah, so I understand obsessed!!! James got so sick of me being in love with "the vampire." I got all the girls at my work to read the whole series so I'd have people to talk to about it!!! They are so fun, but don't worry, life goes on once you finish the books... LOL~! My friend at work saw a shirt that said "BITE ME" on the front, and "Edward's fan club" on the back... Ha ha ha! We'll have to chat more in person, I could go on for hours!!! :)
I know what you mean I got talked into reading them and could not put them down it was awful!! I finished the last one on our girls trip to Vegas so that was nice cause the fam was not there!! But, Todd and Kylie always asked how Edward was!! I am glad I am done and the obsession is not as bad!!
