Oh Joy it's a Boy

First off thank you so much everyone for your comments and advice on my last post.....so helpful! I was able to make a quick trip to Utah to see my family and friends. They were so sweet and threw me my first shower. It was so fun and made this all seem a little more real. I was given so much cute stuff, thanks everyone. Mostly it was just fun to see everyone even if it wasn't for long. Since this is my only record I keep now you will have to excuse all the pictures and especially random ones of things that I don't want to forget. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FAMILY SHOWER

The DECOR

Shayne's mom went all out with a safari theme and it was soooo cute!

She had made these cute center pieces for all the tables with pics of Shayne and I in them This was my seat, I had to share with all the animals

All the food was soooo good!!

Cute party favors and cake

This cake was amazing and my favorite part. Shayne's mom helped the bakery design it and it was amazing none of us wanted to ruin it by cutting it. The animals went all the way around all the sides. The best part was that it was extremely delicious too!

The GIFTS........

I was given so many nice gifts, unfortunately I don't have pics of most of them

My sister made me this cute "hooter hider". She was so excited this was really her first sewing project and she did an awesome job, I was so proud of her!!

We have an ongoing rivalry with Shayne's nieces because they like byu and of course we are UTES through and through, so Miranda thought it was funny to bring our present in blue and made sure we knew it wasn't cause it was a boy but was for byu

Shayne's mom gave us rivalry bears - Shayne told Miranda he was going to give the byu one to our dogs - not a bad idea :)

The GAMES......

There were quite a few fun games with prizes, this is the only one that really could have a picture

Shayne's aunt Lisa and cousins put together this tray - we had to guess everything on it and then the best part was I got to keep it all - just look at those shoes aren't they adorable, I can't wait to use them!!

Shayne's sister is due a few weeks after Sherri, his mom thought it would be fun to rub it in on just how tubbers we are getting by showing off her flat stomach

Sherri's "twin" cousin Michelle. They were born on the same day in the same hospital room about 2 min apart (their mom's shared a recovery room after delivery). Sherri's best friend April, I just love her! With the help of her mom and sisters she threw me an awesome shower with friends

Ok all you Ohioans, how jealous are you that I got to see this beautiful gal? I was so happy she could come, she looked amazing as always!

Me trying to humor the grandma's in this adorable sash I didn't get any pics of presents from my friends but again I was given so many nice things. So many people handmade things that were so cute, thanks so much everyone!!

Can you tell Grandma is a bit excited? Are you wondering like I was how on earth I was getting all of this home?

Never fear, mom is always prepared. She had bought these bags at Costco that you can suck the air out of. I could not believe how small it all got!

Really not one to want to post a belly shot but heck there are already 20 on this post so here is a lovely posed one. Not quite sure it counts as a "bump" anymore.

- Just a couple things I want to remember. After my family shower since I couldn't take the balloons with me everyone had a ball sucking the helium out of the balloons and leaving messages for Shayne. I did get videos which are hilarious but still to this day videos do not upload for me for whatever reason. Also, my friend pointed out that my flight home was my last one ever alone. I wish I would have realized this before I got home, I think I would have appreciated it that much more!!
